
The Corporate Project Office (CPO) is a strategic central area that
provides both leadership and hands-on program/project management advice
and assurance. This includes providing consultancy specialist advice,
monitoring and assurance for program and project managers that have
significant project management accountability.
The Corporate Project Advisor will be responsible for:
• Provide assurance analysis and reporting for the Operations
Committee, and or Executive Management,
• Provide project management advise to high priority projects and
programs
• Provide specialist advice on how projects are managed based on
corporately accepted frameworks and methodologies and provide specialist
advice on frameworks and methods
• Provide mentoring and training for sponsors, steering committees
and project managers
• Review project financials in collaboration with Financial
Services Division
• Support risk and issue management for projects through analysis,
and identification at a corporate level
• Provide assistance with the project investment review process
and meetings
• Provide assistance with gate reviews
• Assist in the development and maintenance of the corporate
dependency management plan
• Assist with the development of new project management documentation.
